Wednesday night is fast becoming our least favourite night telly-wise, with no new episodes of any good shows to look forward to. The only upside is that it does give us a chance to catch up with all the stuff on our Sky+! If you are still flicking round looking for hidden gems, here are a few goodies:
7pm, Will & Grace, Living
This is the first episode featuring Sydney Pollack guest-starring as Will’s dad George, a role which became a recurring one. Will is shocked to discover that his dad is embarrassed by his sexuality, and has told his work colleagues that Will is married to Grace. Meanwhile, Karen’s private detective tracks down Jack’s biological father.
8pm, House, Hallmark
Some classic early Gregory House for fans, as he deals with an 82-year-old woman who has become infatuated with him while trying to figure out what’s poisoning two teenage boys who seem to have no connection to one another. Well worth it for the bits where House is teasing Cameron about his supposedly English accent.
9pm, CSI, FiveUS
If you missed last night’s CSI season nine opener, you can catch it again here, as the CSIs deal with the aftermath of Warrick’s shooting, duped by sneaky Undersheriff McKeen into thinking Officer Pritchard is the murderer, and Grissom does some navel gazing after former lover and colleague Sara Sidle shows up in town to mourn her old workmate.
