Peter’s in the future with future Peter, where everything seems totally topsy turvy, so he decides to take on a dangerous new ability in his efforts to prevent the destruction of Earth. Meanwhile Hiro and Ando are given a new mission by Mama Petrelli (who manages to get through the entire episode without claiming to be anyone else’s mother) and Parkman is still on his spiritual pilgrimage. I can’t help wondering if Greg Grunberg has done something to upset the writers… Don’t forget to check out our latest Heroes vodcast – it’ll be on the blog straight after the episode airs.
10pm, The Nine, Five US
As the series nears its climax, some interesting facts about Nick’s past emerge. His cop father was shot dead on duty but it turns out he was an alcoholic and was drunk at the time so his name and reputation were dragged through the dirt. Nick has been carrying the shame ever since and faces a tough decision, knowing his father’s killer is about to be released from prison. Franny’s also dealing with demons from her past when her long-lost mother Anna turns up at a family barbecue, causing a major ruction.

In the first episode of a two-part story, Allison is really in demand, with Devalos needing help to investigate a fatal arson inquiry and Cynthia pressing her to apply her powers to some old cases that have never been solved. On top of all that, Joe’s mother pays a surprise visit, and Allison is worried about her reaction because they haven’t been together since news of her psychic abilities became public knowledge.
