NEW SERIES From the look of this trailer, this show looks like it’ll be taut, although it got axed by ABC two thirds into the run. Hopefully Five US will stick it out to the end, as it has a fairly decent cast including Private Practice’s Tim Daly, Kim Raver of 24 and Lipstick Jungle fame, little Scott Wolf from Party of Five and Pushing Daisies’ Chi McBride. Nine people live through a 52-hour hostage standoff in a bank robbery, but as the series unfolds, flashbacks reveal what really happened during those tense hours and what secrets the nine are keeping from the outside world.
10.40pm, Six Degrees, ITV1
Whitney’s old friend Ray shows up to ‘cash in’ on the pact they made many years earlier, when they said they’d marry each other if both were still single by 35. Do you know anyone who’s actually done this in real life? The rest of the characters are undergoing equally life-changing moments, as Carlos is considered for a job at a major law firm, and Damian has an unexpected trauma.
