See President Obama on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno…

President Barack Obama and Jay Leno

We’re more accustomed to writing about stupid stuff like this and this here at TV Spy, but we’re donning our grown-up serious hat this afternoon to bring you some quite exciting news of a rather special edition of The Tonight Show with Jay Leno that’s airing on the CNBC channel at 11pm tomorrow night (Friday 20 March).

The show, which airs in the US tonight, will see none other than US President Barack Obama make his first live sit-down appearance since becoming elected President. It is the first time a sitting US President has appeared on a late-night talk show and should, we reckon, make for a pleasing alternative to Friday Night With Jonathan Ross.

The show will be repeated on Saturday 21 March and Sunday 22 March at 8pm. CNBC can be seen on Sky channel number 505 and Virgin 613.

Not sure the great man will be doing this, but it should be worth checking out all the same.
