Six things we learned today | Tuesday 8 July

1) Lots of casting news: Former The Sopranos stars Michael Imperioli and Jamie-Lynn Sigler have landed roles in the US version of Life on Mars and and the next series of Entourage respectively, Luke Perry won’t be in the new version of 90210, Michael J Fox is joining the cast of Rescue Me, onetime Trainspotter and Rome alumni Kevin McKidd is going to be a medic in Grey’s Anatomy.

2) Susan and Mike will no longer be together in the next series of Desperate Housewives.

3) Looks like that Friends movie won’t be happening after all.

4) Sharon and Ozzy’s new variety show will be called The Osbournes: Loud and Dangerous.

5) Larry King, host of CNN’s Larry King Live, is having a portion of an LA street named after him.

6) Mistresses is joining the long list of UK shows being remade for American TV.
