This weekend’s big US dramas

Doakes attacks Dexter

Fri, 9pm, Criminal Minds, Living
SERIES FINALE The BAU have had some real toughies this season, so you’d expect the last episode in the run would be a major humdinger, but… No, just kidding, you won’t be disappointed! The team are summoned to New York where a series of random shootings have caused no end of concern – is it the work of one serial killer? Or a team of killers? My burning question by the end of the episode was ‘Why do they all have separate cars? Do they hate each other that much?’

Sat & Sun, 9am-11pm, Frasier, Paramount 2
You’ve got to think like Martin Crane for this one, get yourself comfy in your laz-E-boy, ignore all irritating family members who attempt to distract you with idle talk of laundry, grocery shopping, lawnmowing or any other needless household chore and enjoy back-to-back Frasier for two long glorious days. It’s the series where Daphne almost marries Donny and Niles almost settles for Mel. Top stuff.

Sun, 10pm, Dexter, FX
Dexter tries to throw the detectives off his scent by cooking up a letter from the Bay Harbor Butcher full of false leads. The missive allows Angel to reveal his literary side, and Lundy reveals his culture preferences as well with a reference to Chopin that sends Debs straight off to the local music store. She’ll be writing their names in a heart with tipp-ex on her desk next. Meanwhile, Lila starts to behave even more worryingly than usual. Oh, and Doakes has a bit of an outburst…
