All those campaigns to get you using public transport instead of your car are going to go down the spout after this episode, as a busload of folk are permanently encased in a mysterious crystallized material released by a fellow passenger. The case leads Olivia and co to a chap who has had premonitions of the recent inexplicable attacks, giving Walter the perfect excuse to dig out his brain-reading device – another gadget which appears to be straight from the pages of JJ Abrams’ childhood sketchbook.
Sun, 9pm, Burn Notice, FX
Apologies for any confusion caused last week – we forgot that the show started with a two-hour special in the States, so last week’s FX episode was the second bit of that and not episode two. D’oh! Anyway, this week Michael really is drafted in to help when his mum’s friend is beaten up and scammed and, amid all the espionage, there’s a nice reference during one of Fi and Sam’s terse exchanges to Sharon Gless’s role in Cagney and Lacey.
Sun, 10pm, Desperate Housewives, E4
NEW SERIES Wisteria Lane has fast-forwarded five years, and the ladies’ lives are quite different. Gabrielle is a frumpy, down-at-heel mum with two overweight daughters, Lynette’s twins have become juvenile delinquents and Bree and Katherine are at loggerheads over their catering business. Elsewhere, Susan’s got a toyboy, and Edie’s back with a husband in tow – a man who seems to have a dark secret connected to one of the street’s residents…
Sun, 10pm, Breaking Bad, FX
Hank’s team go on red alert after discovering someone is distributing super-pure meth in the area, little realising it’s his mousy brother-in-law. Skyler insists that Walter has a consultation with an oncologist after the rest of the family find out about his illness, and Walter finds a way to channel his pent-up anger regarding the whole sorry mess. Bluetooth wearers everywhere, beware!
