What did Santa put in your stocking this Christmas? If you hoped for a copy of the new Wii game Where the Wild Things Are but were left with some novelty slippers instead, then perhaps we can make a belated wish come true.
Warner Bros have kindly given us five Where the Wild Things Are games for Wii to give away, (rrp £34.99), based on the charming children’s classic by Maurice Sendak, the Hollywood movie follows the adventures of a disobedient little boy called Max, who was sent to his room without any supper. In his imagination he is banished to another world, inhabited by mysterious wild creatures which crown Max king.
The videogame formats on Wii, DS, PS3 and Xbox feature the mischievous Max travelling through the land of the Wild Things, which is on the brink of destruction. Play Rule the Island and become king of all Wild Things as you find a way to safety before it is too late. Frolic among the island’s flora and fauna and acquire power-ups. Discover the undiscovered as you fly, jump, glide and swing through the island’s dangerous terrain, battling enemy creatures with your trusty sceptre.
We have five copies on Wii to give away – just answer the question below.
Q. In Sendak’s story, what does Max declare?
a) A wild party
b) A wild rumpus
c) A wild goose chase

Loved the book, the film was pretty good too, but what about the game – has anyone here played it?
The trailers for the game look pretty good, but I’m not sure what would make it a 12 – my 2 toddler age kids love the book and the 5 year old wants to play the game – anyone know if it would be too old for him?
